Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is pleased to present a plethora of new and upcoming games at one of Southeast Asia's largest video game exhibitions, Thailand Game Show 2023, taking place this weekend from 20 to 22 October 2023.

Eventgoers are able to visit Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia's featured booth and try their hand at exclusive game demos for upcoming titles such as TEKKEN 8,  SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada, NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS and SAND LAND, as well as the newly-launched title — SWORD ART ONLINE Last Recollection. 

Game demos for TEKKEN 8, SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada and NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS are also available in Thai — providing Thai fans with immersive localised content. 

Additionally, SQUARE ENIX®'s FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Dark Prince and STAR OCEAN THE SECOND STORY R are showcased at the booth, enabling fans to check out the action-packed title line-up before they launch in the coming months.

In support of the title showcase of TEKKEN 8, SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada and FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, the respective games' producers took the main stage earlier today — providing eventgoers with a closer look at the games' notable features.

Yosuke Futami, the Producer of SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada, kickstarted Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia's main stage session — delving into the thought process of coming up with the game's catchphrase, "I'm with you," as well as the game's overall premise.

The recent Amasia Investigation Trailer, which depicts the course of events that led to the collapse of the underground haven of Amasia, was revealed in the Thai language for the first time on the main stage.

SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada, which will have several language text support including English and Thai, is set to launch on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam® at a later date.

Michael Murray, the Producer of the TEKKEN Project and TEKKEN 8, graced the main stage after to provide a deep dive into the latest instalment in the TEKKEN series.

Apart from introducing the TEKKEN Fight Lounge, which allows players to interact with other players and customise their profiles, Michael unveiled a walkthrough video of the Arcade Quest — a mode meant to give players an introduction to the TEKKEN 8 gameplay — captured exclusively in Thai on the main stage.

Set to be released on 26 January 2024 on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam®, TEKKEN 8 will be the first-ever title in the franchise to be released on consoles and PC ahead of arcade, and will also be available in the Thai language for the first time.

Ending off the main stage session was the Director of FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH, Naoki Hamaguchi, where eventgoers were treated to an exclusive presentation by the director about the second game in the trilogy of the FFVII Remake Project.

Game highlights such as the concept of "free exploration", where players are free to roam across the expansive world peppered with mini-games, unique areas and powerful enemy monsters, and an evolved battle system with the addition of new team-based abilities, were further explained.

FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH is set to be released on PlayStation®5 on 29 February 2024.
