Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia announced today the newest instalment to Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop, Tamagotchi Plaza. The game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch™ on Thursday, 26 June 2025, with more details on digital pre-order coming soon.

About Tamagotchi Plaza
First released in 2005, the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series introduces the newest title Tamagotchi Plaza to the Nintendo Switch™. Featuring 12 unique shops in town for special Tamagotchi visitors to interact with, enhance the reputation of each shop by taking orders and fulfilling them. With new Tamagotchi stopping by, you’ll have the chance to help solve problems and make the town vibrant and full of life!
Introducing Tamahiko Town, the ‘City of Love’ on Tamagotchi Planet
At the command of Gotchi King, a major event on Tamagotchi Planet is to be held: Tamagotchi Fest. While various towns put their hands up to host the celebration, Tamahiko Town, the home of Prince Tamahiko, also puts itself forward as a candidate!
After being scouted by Prince Tamahiko to be the Chairperson of the Bid Committee, you will need to work together with your trusty Vice Chairperson, to make Tamahiko Town a lively place to live.
A total of 12 unique shops that can help!
There is the Eyewear Shop that makes the perfect pair of glasses, the Afternoon Tea Shop that creates table settings to suit customers’ needs, and a Galette shop that makes the galettes exactly to the customer’s specifications. As the reputation of these shops improves, and you upgrade them, more Tamagotchi will stop by, and the orders will become more difficult...?!

First in the series – two players can play at some shops
At some shops, you can share a Joy-Con™ to play two-player offline mode. The Dentist, familiar from past series, has new features that are unique to two-player mode in this title. Work together with family and friends to cure your customers' cavities!
There are over 100 Tamagotchi!
Tamahiko Town, the setting of the game, is home to a variety of unique Tamagotchi. Not only do the Tamagotchi visit the shops, they will also play with you or ask you to help them find things. While helping out at the shops, enjoy interacting with cute Tamagotchi.
Play in conjunction with Tamagotchi Uni!
It also has a linking function with the latest toy model ‘Tamagotchi Uni’, which is currently on sale! You can enjoy exclusive items that can only be obtained through the connection of the toy and the game.
