Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is pleased to announce the launch of Tales of Symphonia Remastered on the Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One today.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered is a remastered version of Tales of Symphonia, which was released in 2003 and had sold more than 2.7 million units worldwide. The adventures of Lloyd and Colette, the Chosen One, in the two intertwined worlds of Sylvarant and Tethe’alla return after 20 years – with every bit of this remastered version as vibrant and memorable as they were in the original.

A new trailer has been released today to commemorate the launch of this title. Take this opportunity to rediscover the joys of the journey of Lloyd, Colette the Chosen and their seven other allies across the two worlds of Sylvarant and Tethe’alla.

To celebrate the release, the three new initiatives have been launched – more details are listed below.

A new web exclusive quiz, “Which Symphonia Character Are You?”, has been released today! Answer Colette’s questions to discover which Symphonia character you most closely resemble.

To celebrate the release, the Tales of Symphonia theme song, “Starry Heavens ver. 2013”, is now available for download in the Nintendo Switch™ title, Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival!

Music from the Tales of Symphonia soundtrack is available for download from today via https://nex-tone.link/Talesof. The music tracks are downloadable via the sound label Bandai Namco Game Music, where approximately 2000 tracks from the “Tales” series are planned to be released over time.

The world of Sylvarant has been plagued by mana exploitation and calamity by the return of the Desians – an evil group who were supposedly sealed off by the hero, Mithos, 4,000 years ago. Colette, the daughter of an angel, receives an oracle and sets out on a journey for the rebirth of the world – while being accompanied by her childhood friend, Lloyd.

If she is reincarnated as an angel, this world will then be saved... Believing this, Lloyd and his friends take on numerous challenges. However, they soon discover that saving Sylvarant meant the decline of the inverse world of Tethe'alla, which is inextricably linked to it. For one to prosper, the other must be sacrificed. Is there no way to escape this destiny…?

Lloyd must face his fears and his feelings for Colette, even as she gradually loses her humanity with every step she takes towards her angelic destiny…
