Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is pleased to announce the release of a new theme song trailer for Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn, which is due to be released on Thursday, 9 November 2023 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam®. The trailer features the upcoming expansion's official theme song, “We Still”, by the group KANKAKU PIERO. This song was written and performed by KANKAKU PIERO, who also performed “HIBANA”, the opening theme song for the Tales of Arise main game, and was created specifically for the story in Beyond the Dawn and its new character Nazamil.

Enjoy a brief glimpse of the game's setting and music prior to its release. Furthermore, in preparation for next week's launch, an original novel called Prelude will be released to connect the main stories of Tales of Arise and Beyond the Dawn! Starting tomorrow, 3 November, at 11 am SGT, the novel will be released in installments for free on the official portal site for the Tales series: Tales Channel+.

“We Still” was composed by KANKAKU PIERO to serve as the theme song for the new story depicted in Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn. The trailer featuring the theme song will be made available on the Tales of YouTube Channel.

“We Still” is scheduled to be released on the various music streaming services from Thursday, 9 November.

The rock band KANKAKU PIERO was formed in Osaka in 2013.Commonly known by their nickname “KanEro”, the group is not affiliated with any existing record label, instead focusing on delivering their own unique sound and style to fans.

Their distinctive and explosive sound features a wide-ranging musical stylethat ranges from classic rock to more provocative tunes.They have created the theme songs for numerous anime and TV dramas and are popular across a wide variety of age groups.

We made the song “HIBANA” for the previous game, Tales of Arise, but we never expected to be asked to work on this new expansion as well, so we are extremely grateful for the opportunity.I feel that the setting and worldview found in Arise are much more profound than just a story in a video game.

The act of your personal sense of justice causing you to clash with others who have differing opinions, but then talking with them and getting to know them better, and ultimately working together hand in hand... I feel that this game speaks to players in a way that goes beyond the mere confines of a game.

As Arise’s story approaches its grand finale, each character must trust their own thoughts and emotions while also pursuing the path that they have set out on.

Therefore, we wanted to create a positive song that takes that into account and lets them know that everything will be okay.

An original novel that ties together the stories of the Tales of Arise main game and Beyond the Dawn.

Prelude will be released for free on Tales Channel + starting tomorrow, 3 November.

The content also features a BGM feature, so you can listen to some background music by Motoi Sakuraba made especially for the novel while reading the story.

Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn is a major DLC expansion that follows the ending of the game Tales of Arise that was released in 2021.

This expansion picks up where the main game's story left off and includes new enemies, dungeons, sub-quests, costumes, and much more. A new character named Nazamil (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki) also joins the game, which features 20+ hours of game content!
