Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia today announce the release of the third downloadable content pack, Moonlit Night Fragment, for SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam®.
This DLC introduces Philia and Sachi as new playable characters.

Story Synopsis for Moonlit Night Fragment
Kirito receives a message seeking help within the snow-fallen Galaxia – the intertwined virtual world. Responding to the call, Kirito and the others head towards the snowfield to locate the sender.
There, they encounter Philia, a blonde-haired girl who identifies herself as a treasure hunter. Like Strea, Philia wandered in from another world, having overcome various difficulties with Kirito and his companions from “the other side”. Philia and the others have an unexpected reunion (?), but even more encounters await them.
Asuna discovers a player collapsed in the snowfield. It is Sachi, the girl Kirito once met but was unable to save. However, within this virtual world, Sachi’s data is incomplete, and she has lost some of her memories.
“I remember the name Kirito. He’s the most important person to me.”
Sachi has something she needs to tell Kirito, but she cannot remember it. In order to fully restore Sachi’s memories, the group, now joined by Philia, begins exploring Galaxia.
“Okay, I’ll help too. Even though I look like this, I’m good at finding treasure!”
A reunion under an impossible moonlit night, and a fleeting adventure to fill the empty fragments.

DLC 4 Playable Character Reveal
The fourth downloadable content pack, Symphony of a Dazzling Dawn, has been scheduled to be released by 30 September 2025. This DLC will feature Mito and Cat Knight Alice as new playable characters.
