Leading video game publisher and developer Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia today announced that pre-orders for the downloadable version of "ONE PIECE ODYSSEY Deluxe Edition" for Nintendo Switch™ will begin today, 16 May 2024.

The RPG, released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the beloved “ONE PIECE” series, which is very popular in both the original story and the anime, is finally available on Nintendo Switch™ in a deluxe edition that includes an additional scenario and costumes!

The in-game opening movie has also been released. The Straw Hat Crew was caught in a storm and drifted ashore on the mysterious island of Waford, where they began their "great adventure" through the world of memories. Check out the trailer below:

During their voyage, the Straw Hat Crew is swallowed by a great storm. They end up on a mysterious island called "Waford", surrounded bystorm and nature. They set out on a journey to the "World of Memory" of which the Straw Hat Crew called "Memoria", to regain the power that was taken from them by a mysterious girl named "Lim" whom they met there. A new adventure in the "nostalgic world" opens!

While centered on the familiar royal command battle, the game incorporates an authentic ONE PIECE twist to create a battle experience unique to this title!

In addition to Scramble Area Battle, where players will move around through multiple battle areas, the Dramatic Scene system allows for battles to further develop into unexpected and random situations—where players will have to strategize using the unique skills of the Straw Hat Crew members to overcome enemies.

In this title, players can control the Straw Hat Crew in their adventures! In addition, original characters and enemies designed by the original author, Eiichiro Oda, will appear in the game.
