Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia today announce that the hit game DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is coming to Nintendo Switch™ 2 and Nintendo Switch™. DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is developed by Spike Chunsoft, the developers behind the original DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series in more than 15 years and features faithful recreations of the anime legendary characters with thrilling fights just like the anime. DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO will be available on 13 November 2025 and pre-orders are now available.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO brings the series forward to a new era by harnessing the power of Unreal Engine 5 and pushing the envelope for gameplay and features in an arena brawler. The game’s gravity-defying battles promise to ‘shake the earth, break the heavens’, with each DRAGON BALL character’s signature destructive powers and Ki abilities showcased in stunning detail. The Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch™ 2 versions come with local multiplayer as well as motion controls that will let players recreate their favourite hero’s most devastating moves.

About DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is a 3D action game in which players can fight using all of the legendary techniques of the DRAGON BALL series, such as the iconic Kamehameha and Air Dance Technique. Make full use of the unique characteristics and abilities of each character, transforming into Super Saiyan form or building up Ki to unleash a powerful move that stuns the enemy in battles that are dramatic and unpredictable to the very last.
Built on the fundamental battle system of the Sparking! series, where special techniques like Impact Action and Ultimate Blast, and well-timed counterattacks are key to victory, a range of new mechanics have also been added for this title.
