Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia today announced that Digimon Story Time Stranger, will be released on 2 October 2025 on PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S, and next day release for PC via Steam®. The new trailer reveals the main plot of the story as players incarnate ADAMAS agents Dan Yuki or Kanan Yuki, who have been thrown into the past to fight and save the Digital World, on the brink of collapse because of the Titans, collapse that would have terrible repercussions spill into the Human World.

During their quests to save the world, they will meet plenty of characters and Digimon, among which are the Olympos XII, deities Digimon that will play a key role in the game’s story. They will also meet Aegiomon and Inori Misono, who both share a special link. 

Digimon Story Time Stranger offers players the chance to team up and bond with their Digimon, by training, fighting, or spending time in the DigiFarm or using objects to enhance their capabilities. They will also engage in strategic turn-based battles with their bonded Digimon, using a mix of attributes, traits and skill combos to gain the upper hand.

Explore the deep bond between humans and Digimon in Digimon Story Time Stranger. An RPG with monster-taming elements, discover an epic story that unravels the mystery of the world’s collapse. Players embark on an adventure that spans across the human world and Digital World, collecting and raising a diverse array of Digimon to fight in turn-based battles.
