Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. and Bandai Namco Studio Inc. have started accepting games for the "1st GYAAR Studio Indie Game Contest" under Bandai Namco Studios' indie game label GYAAR Studio. The entry deadline is Wednesday January 25, 2023, and you can enter by turning in playable demos or prototypes.

The contest is to support indie game creators and will select, at most, one Platinum Award winner plus seven additional award winners (maximum). Rewards are drawn from a pool of up to 100 million JPY in support of funding as well as various development support programs. Results will be announced at the Tokyo Indie Games Summit (https://indiegamessummit.tokyo/) on March 4, 2023.
