Dark secrets about the world will be revealed along this path, and ulterior motives may lurk among your company.

ELDEN RING™ Shadow of the Erdtree takes place in a hidden world called the Realm of Shadow. This completely new region has been hidden from all others since the moment Marika harnessed the power of golden grace.
For some hidden reason, Messmer brutally suppressed and savaged the population of this veiled land.
Torn by this unsung war, the Realm of Shadow is densely packed with unknown dangers.
There are new heights to climb and new depths to delve into, all interspersed with meticulously-designed dungeons.

6. Multiplayer Mode
ELDEN RING features numerous multiplayer systems. Players can choose to play cooperatively, to play competitively, or to play as a rescuer. Summoning cooperative players can help tackle tough challenges or simply vibe in the Lands Between with your friends online. Players who need a hand will find the community is is full of helpful Tarnished to join their adventures. And nothing can beat the feeling of dueling with other players across a massive fantasy wilderness or joining the ranks in an ancient arena to win against other Tarnished on the field of battle. Located in Limgrave, Caelid and Leyndell, each arena comes with its own sets of rules and will be the theatres of fierce Player versus Player confrontations.
United Combat: The combatants are divided into two teams to fight in timed battles with the ability to respawn. Each death and respawn grants points to the adversaries, offering victory to the team with the higher score.
Combat Ordeal: It’s every Tarnished for themselves. Combatants in this mode can also respawn until the timer hits zero, and the one with the most points will prevail as victor.
The Royal Colosseum, located in Leyndell, features Duel Mode. Two Tarnished face off in a duel to the death, and without the ability to respawn. The Caelid Colosseum features all aforementioned modes with the addition of being able to summon Spirit Ashes to fight by players’ sides.
